Livehealthy Festival 2021 - Focus on ‘Your Immunity’

Livehealthy magazine (livehealthymag.com) holds its second Livehealthy Festival on Friday, January 22, 2021. This year’s edition of the Festival will focus on the theme of “Your Immunity,” and will be exclusively online because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Speakers include Dr. Ruediger Krech, a senior leader of the World Health Organization in Geneva; Dr. Nasr Al Jafari, who will speak on how the body builds immunity (sometimes, a few germs are not a bad thing); and nutritionist Dana Howells, who will explain the micro environment of your dinner table.
Among other speakers are Mustafa Adnan of Strike Fitness, Dr. Philip Fischer of the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and the Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Abu Dhabi, and Dr. Raghib Ali of NYU Abu Dhabi, who is concurrently affiliated with Cambridge and Oxford Universities. They will discuss how even a little exercise can go a long way in building health resilience.
The Festival will start with an online yoga session featuring Karly Melnyk from MVMT One studio, and ends with a sound healing session led by Neli Merris, founder of Seven Wellness.
For a full list of free sessions and to register, go to: https://www.livehealthymag.com/livehealthy-festival-2021/.
Livehealthy Festival 2021 is sponsored by Basiligo, B Sweet, and Lose Weight.
“We hope the Festival will let people understand our need, in a holistic manner, to be better immune to the range of diseases out there. A strong body can better resist the ravages of illnesses, including Covid-19,” said Mohammed Al Otaiba, founder of Livehealthy magazine.
“A strong mental state is also a very important part of building immunity. That’s why holistic wellness is an important part of this year’s festival,” added Ann Marie McQueen, editor of Livehealthy magazine.
Livehealthy Festival 2021 follows Livehealthy magazine’s Week of Wellness, running from January 17 through January 21. During Week of Wellness, leading fitness and wellness studios and healthy food outlets and retailers have been offering free or discounted sessions, items and meals.
Fitness, wellness, life-coaching, and experiences centers participating in Week of Wellness are: Best Body Co, Bodytree, Cocoon Coaching Solutions, Desert Shield, Punch, Seven Wellness, Strike Fitness, Sweat, and Wake Up Adventures.
Participating Week of Wellness healthy food outlets and retailers are: Basiligo, B Sweet, HealthNag, ingFit, Lose Weight, Nolu’s, Pop & Hop, Soul Vegan Cafe, Super Meals UAE, and Sweet Greens.
