A massive success for Dabur Amla Hair Oil’s first hair donation drive
Collaborative efforts with Friends of Cancer Patients and Tips & Toes Salons inspire 300 Hair donors in UAE

Dabur Amla, the No. 1 Hair Oil brand in the Middle East launched a campaign in October 2020 encouraging women to donate hair in support of cancer patients. The campaign titled ‘Strong Hair Stronger You’ launched by Dabur Amla has been generating awareness and inspiring women across UAE to donate their hair. FOCP - Friends of Cancer Patients and Tips & Toes Salons significantly supported the initiative which has resulted in the collection of approximately 60 kgs of hair within a span of 2 months. Since its launch, the campaign has received close to 1000 registrations and over 300 women have donated their hair for this noble cause.
Speaking about the initiative, Krishan Kumar Chutani (CEO, Dabur International) said; “We are overwhelmed by the participation of so many thoughtful people who have been instrumental in making our effort a success. Cancer survivors are winners against all odds and we are glad to bring a smile to those winners in life, through this initiative”.
During the campaign, Tips & Toes Salons placed hair collection boxes in 23 branches across UAE to collect hair from volunteers and offered free haircuts as part of the initiative. FOCP as a non-profit organization generated awareness about the campaign and will now help in making hair prosthetics from the collected hair and distribute them to patients for free.
Bringing smiles and celebrating the inner strength of every woman, Dabur Amla along with FOCP aims to continue its efforts towards this noble cause in future too.
