ALGIERS- The Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aïmene Benabderrahmane instructed the members of the Government to postpone all the working and inspection visits due to the rebound in Covid-19 cases in Algeria.

“Given the epidemiological situation prevailing in the country marked by a significant increase in Covid-19 contamination with the appearance of new variants of the virus, I have the honor to call you to postpone all working and inspection visits intend in the wilayas of the country”, specified the Prime Minister in a note sent Thursday to the members of the Government.

“I also call you to postpone the holding of all meetings and study days, while making sure to prohibit the organization of all types of gatherings in your administrations, whether at the central or local level, and this as preventive measure,” he added.

Affirming that he attached great importance to the rigorous application of this instruction, the Prime Minister stressed that it remains in force until further notice.
