NAS renews ISAGO certification in Cote d’Ivoire to enhance safety and quality

National Aviation Services (NAS), the aviation services provider in emerging markets, successfully renewed its IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) certification in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire for the third time.

NAS Ivoire’s operations at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport are certified covering Organization and Management (ORM), Load Control (LOD), Passenger and Baggage Handing (PAB), Aircraft Handling and Loading (HDL), Aircraft Ground Movement (AGM) as well as Cargo and Mail Handling (CGM).

ISAGO is an internationally recognized system for assessing the operational management and control systems for ground handling service providers. It is based on industry-proven safety audit principles and follows a stringent and structured process that reviews training, policies, procedures, etc.

NAS was also among the first ground handling providers in the world to receive an ISAGO certification for its Kuwait operation in 2008 and currently holds the accreditation in seven locations in Africa and the Middle East.

As the company grows its presence, it also continues to drive efforts to ensure that all its stations are certified, highlighting its commitment to safety and quality in all operations.

In Abidjan, NAS serves 28 airline customers, handling approximately 200 flights each month. Globally, NAS has a presence in over 55 airports, handling seven of the world’s top 10 airlines and operating more than 50 airport lounges across the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
